Privacy Policy

1. Scope

Pastel Alpha (“Pastel,” “we,” “us”) handles personal information for our website, memberships, payments, Discord community and Bot, referrals, reputation bounties, membership-time giveaways, support and promotion. This policy covers visitors, current and former members, eligible nonmember participants and people contacting us. Personal information includes identifiable or reasonably linkable information, including account-linked wallets and transactions.

Section 3 covers the Bot. Other sections describe shared practices and Bot-specific limits. Discord, Rick and other independent services have their own policies.

Our Terms of Service govern membership and contractual content permissions. This policy does not expand Bot access or provide blanket consent to data use, tracking or public reposts.

2. Information and purposes

We receive information from you, Discord, community participants, public blockchains, service operation and providers, depending on the features used.

Accounts and access. We use Discord IDs, usernames/display names, avatars and membership/role information to identify accounts and administer access. When you sign in with Discord, Discord also shares the email address on your Discord account; we store it with your account, membership and invoice records and use it to identify your account, handle support and investigate fraud or abuse, and staff can see it when administering accounts. Membership dates, plans and coupons support access, account history and error resolution. Recorded age declarations and Terms acceptances support eligibility and agreement records. Required account information enables the relevant feature; we explain material effects of privacy requests on it.

Payments. Memberships are fixed-period purchases with manual renewal. Invoices, transaction hashes, amounts, assets, networks, dates and payment status support payment matching, history, duplicate-credit prevention, error resolution, accounting, disputes and applicable reporting. When you create an invoice, we also record the IP address it was created from and keep it with the invoice and your membership record for fraud prevention, abuse investigations and dispute resolution. Wallets and transactions may become linked to a Discord account. Receiving payment gives us no access to your wallet or authority to trade your assets.

Programs. Referral codes, attribution, qualifying purchases, account associations, commissions and payout addresses administer member and nonmember referrals. Reputation scores, rankings, eligibility, award choices and delivery records administer community-vote bounties—not verified trading-performance awards. Random membership-time giveaways use separate entry, eligibility, selection, notification and redemption records.

If additional eligibility, wallet-control or tax information is needed, we explain the request and how to submit it securely. Keep identity and tax documents out of public channels. Program participation may be visible in community rankings or announcements; a referral code associates the qualifying purchase with its referrer.

Community and support. We receive submitted messages, calls, comments, charts, images, screenshots, audio, videos and associated account information. Channel permissions determine the audience; Section 5 covers promotion. Support communications, attachments, account details and reports about others help us respond, investigate abuse, administer access and handle legal/privacy requests. Staff channel access does not itself mean separate archiving.

Website operation. Account authorization, session and technical information, including IP addresses and browser information, support sign-in, security, rate limiting and abuse investigations. Section 6 covers website technologies. An affiliate relationship does not itself give Pastel a member’s complete trading history.

3. Pastel Alpha Bot

The Bot operates only in Pastel’s Discord server. It processes member/staff slash-command inputs and configured calls/wins channel information, using Discord identifiers to associate commands, reputation, wallets and preferences with accounts.

Reputation. With /rep, members give positive or negative reputation and a reason containing the token contract address. The Bot uses account IDs, vote direction, reasons, contract addresses and reputation records to apply voting limits and display scores/leaderboards. Staff can adjust/reset reputation and block abusive voting between accounts. Reasons are distinct from mirrored source text; reputation is community feedback, not verified trading results.

Scan labels. When Rick posts a scan in the calls channel, the Bot reads its contract-address embed and identifies whose message Rick answered, then replies with that member’s reputation. This does not create a separate conversation archive.

Mirrors. A new token scanned by Rick after a call from a member with at least five positive reputations is mirrored with the call into the curated community scan channel. Each token is mirrored once; stored contract addresses prevent duplicates. Destination permissions may expose the mirror to a different audience.

Wallets and cards. /wallet and /profit save a member’s own public Solana addresses and use account associations, command inputs, token information and public blockchain activity to create branded profit-and-loss cards. Public blockchain data can identify people. Anonymous card display does not remove saved-wallet or account-associated records.

Recaps. Authorized staff use /imagegen30d to combine eligible wins-channel image attachments from the preceding 30 days, excluding opted-out members. This selects images; it does not set their deletion date.

Section 7 explains /optout and other choices. Sections 4, 8, 10 and 11 cover providers, retention, AI and security.

4. Recipients and visibility

Staff use relevant information for operations, support, moderation, programs and legal obligations. Discord processes platform interactions; participants see posts, scores, leaderboards, mirrors and images according to destination permissions. Google processes our Gmail correspondence. Providers process information needed for their functions.

Website and Bot hosting, storage and security providers handle the account, content and technical data needed to operate their services. Blockchain and market-data services receive queries needed for wallet and profit-card features. Payment and program records may be available to staff or providers administering those transactions. Channel posts, leaderboards and program announcements are visible to their audiences; Section 5 covers public promotion. Blockchain records may be public independently.

We may disclose information when legally required. Other disclosures for rights protection, fraud/security, professional advice or a business transfer require an appropriate lawful basis and respect applicable restrictions and privacy choices.

Discord API data: sharing must meet Discord’s conditions and law, including permitted providers, legally required disclosure or the applicable user’s express direction. General disclosure language and content licenses do not override these restrictions.

5. Public promotion

With the required rights and permissions, Pastel may publicly reuse community content—including paid-channel posts—in screenshots, result posts, cards, recaps, website features and other promotion. Destinations include our website, X @pastelalpha, YouTube @pastelalpha and TikTok @pastel.alpha. Uses may show usernames, display names, avatars, statements, images and results.

Terms Section 14 supplies the contractual license and its limits. Valid acceptance can authorize future use of older posts; it does not authorize earlier publication retroactively. Remaining in Discord alone grants no new license. Separate valid permission may also authorize a use.

Private staff messages, confidential support/billing tickets, verification documents and account secrets are not automatically promotional submissions. Uploads do not grant other people’s rights. Reposts must not expose incidental sensitive information or misrepresent statements, endorsements or results. A license does not replace required privacy consent, a processing basis or platform permission. Adult-only access neither establishes every depicted person’s age nor supplies required permission to use a minor’s identity.

Public platforms and others may retain or redistribute material. Section 7 explains the future identifiable-marketing opt-out; Section 8 addresses copies and deletion.

6. Cookies tracking and marketing

Website sign-in uses session and security technologies.

We use a login session cookie, which lasts up to 14 days, and a short-lived security cookie during Discord sign-in. We do not use these cookies for advertising. Browser settings can limit storage but affect login. Terms acceptance cannot replace required tracking consent, and contacting support cannot replace a legally required collection-time control.

7. Choices and requests

Email privacy@joinpastel.com or open a private #support ticket at https://discord.gg/pastelalpha. Email requires neither membership nor server access. Include your Discord ID, request and relevant message links/IDs. Never send passwords, private keys, seed phrases, account-access tokens or unnecessary identity documents.

Access correction and deletion. Request information, corrections or deletion through these routes. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable requirements. We verify using reasonably necessary information, meet applicable deadlines and explain refusals, extensions or available appeals. If deleting a preference record affects remembering that choice, we explain the consequences; any retention must meet applicable requirements, including Discord’s rules.

Future identifiable marketing. Email to stop new promotional uses identifying you. After receipt and reasonable verification, we stop those uses within a reasonable processing time, subject to stricter law. Publishing an existing collage or card anew counts as a new use. Lawful internal operations and genuinely de-identified uses may continue. Already lawfully distributed material is not automatically recalled, but required withdrawal, removal and erasure rights remain.

Bot preference. /optout excludes your calls from future mirrors and images from subsequently generated recaps. The Bot stores your Discord ID to apply it. This does not delete wallets, reputation, source posts, existing mirrors or collages, and is separate from marketing opt-out and deletion. Contact us for both preferences or review of an existing copy.

Leaving Discord, disconnecting authorization or deleting a source post does not itself erase all Pastel records or make a marketing request. Discord’s own controls cover information it controls.

8. Retention and deletion

We keep information only for the relevant purposes below and applicable requirements. Retention depends on whether a record is still needed for an active feature, an unresolved issue, a privacy preference or a specific legal obligation.

Bot records. Source call text is processed for mirroring without a separate Bot archive; the mirror remains a Discord message. Source recap images are processed in memory without separate source-image files in Bot storage. Mirrored token addresses prevent duplicates. Reputation and account associations support voting and scores; saved wallets support wallet/card features; opt-out Discord IDs apply the preference. These records remain only while needed for those permitted functions, subject to the deletion requirements below. Generated outputs and any logs, caches or backups remain subject to those requirements too.

We promptly update/delete Discord API data on applicable user, Discord or legal requirements; when unnecessary for the Bot’s stated permitted functions; or when the Bot stops operating. Only legally required retention is excepted, not a general business-record preference.

Membership expiration does not automatically erase records. We assess requests and delete, correct or restrict information, including provider copies, as required. The 30-day recap window and in-memory processing do not delete posts, mirrors, cards, collages or staff/public copies. Other stored records remain subject to their retention rules. Discord controls its own retention.

We cannot erase blockchain history or independent third-party copies, but remain responsible for our controlled records, posts, backups and provider copies as required.

9. Regional rights

United States. Where applicable, rights include access, correction, deletion, portability, disclosure information, sale/sharing or targeted-advertising opt-outs, limits on certain sensitive-information uses and protections for certain automated decisions. Applicable rights may allow authorized agents, appeals and regulatory complaints. We do not unlawfully discriminate for exercising protected rights. See Section 7 for requests and Section 6 for tracking choices.

EEA and UK. Where applicable, rights include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, consent withdrawal and supervisory-authority complaints, depending on the processing and basis. Withdrawal does not invalidate prior lawful processing.

Right to object: You may object to legitimate-interest processing in the circumstances provided by law, and to direct-marketing processing where applicable. A content license does not remove these rights.

Where EEA/UK data-protection law applies, we use the following bases only where their conditions are met:

Account, payment and feature inputs are needed to provide the corresponding service; without them, we may be unable to provide that feature. Optional consent is not a condition for unrelated access.

Section 11 covers transfers. Terms acceptance is not transfer consent or a waiver of mandatory protections.

10. Automation and AI

Bot voting limits, scores, labels and duplicate/mirroring rules determine reputation displays and mirrored calls. Rankings also inform bounties. Staff adjustment/abuse tools do not mean every output receives human review. Contact us about errors or manipulation; additional rights depend on applicable law and processing.

The Bot uses no AI/machine learning, does not train AI models with or sell Discord message content, and combines existing images for recaps. These statements concern the Bot, not unrelated tools or independent platforms.

11. Security and locations

We are responsible for safeguards appropriate to the information and applicable requirements, including Discord’s requirements for Bot data. No measure eliminates risk or limits our legal responsibilities. Report suspected unauthorized access or disclosure to our privacy email without account secrets.

Pastel is U.S.-based. Providers may process information outside your location.

12. Adult eligibility

Membership, community, Bot and program users must be 18 and the local age of legal majority if higher; parental permission/payment is no exception. This does not claim universal current/historical age verification or supply consent to use a minor’s identity. Contact us about suspected ineligible participation or related data so we can address access and information under applicable requirements.

13. Updates and contact

We update this policy and its effective date as practices/disclosures change, communicate material changes through appropriate website/Discord or required notices, and obtain separately required permission before new uses. Updates do not authorize past disclosures retroactively or make existing members accept new Terms. Privacy timing is independent of renewal.
